SPECIAL MILITARY COURT TO BE ESTABLISHED
The bill envisions that Palestinians detained on the grounds of participating in the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation will be tried in a special military court to be established for this purpose. It was stated that charges of "genocide, violation of state sovereignty, incitement to war, and aiding the enemy" would be directed during the trials.
PENALTY: DEATH
The text of the bill indicates that the charges listed require the death penalty under Israeli law, emphasizing that the law must pass three separate votes in the Israeli Parliament to come into effect.
NUMBER OF DETAINEES EXCEEDS 300
While Israeli authorities have not made an official statement regarding the number of Palestinians allegedly involved in the October 7 attacks, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that this number exceeds 300.
OCTOBER 7 AND GAZA ATTACKS
