Beşiktaş Vice President Murat Kılıç made statements regarding the transfer agenda. Kılıç expressed that the motivation of the players is high and that agreements have been reached with the players they are in talks with, while discussions with their clubs are ongoing. He also noted that the Portuguese star Rafa Silva would play if he wishes to do so.
Beşiktaş's Vice President Murat Kılıç, who is camping at a hotel in Belek Tourism Center in the Serik district of Antalya, made statements to the press.
'WE ARE LOOKING AT PLAYERS WHO WILL PLAY IN THE STARTING 11'
Kılıç said, "Our winter camp is not just a place for physical training; it is a very nice training ground where our players' motivation and unity are high. Our motivation here is very high. Especially, we are spending great time with our coaches in one-on-one meetings. This will be very beneficial for us in the future. One of the most important issues is transfers. Making transfers during the mid-season is not easy. Our coaches are looking very closely at the players' pasts, injury statuses, and mental states. We do not have the luxury to make mistakes. Right now, we are looking at players who will play in the starting 11. Therefore, we are not in a hurry." he said.
'WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE 4 TRANSFERS'
Continuing his remarks, Kılıç stated, "Currently, two of our foreign players did not join the camp. We have the right to acquire two young players, so we have the right to make 4 transfers. We will fill this completely, but as I said, these transfers will be players who will excite our fans and motivate us as well. Discussions are ongoing with the players, and our coaches have already agreed with the players one-on-one. The players we are looking for are those who play for their teams and are valued by their teams. We are now trying to reach agreements with their teams. We will likely reach agreements with them very soon and bring them to the camp." he explained.
'PLAYERS HAVE BEEN CONSULTED, AGREEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE'
Kılıç also made statements regarding transfers, saying, "Currently, players have been consulted, and agreements have been made. Since we have not yet signed contracts with their clubs, it would not be correct to mention names. We are also acting in a budgetary sense while making these transfers. Because we do not want to risk the future. Right now, we do not have any issues related to the budget. We have not said anything to our coach Sergen regarding the budget. We will give the values that can be given to players who can play in the starting 11." he stated.
'THE NAMES IN THE PRESS ARE NOT WRONG'
Providing information about the desired positions during the transfer process, Kılıç said, "We are looking at center-backs, left-backs, left wingers, and players who can play in the 6-8 positions. These are our top priorities, but we will evaluate if there is an opportunity for a transfer. We are planning a goalkeeper transfer. I do not want to mention names. We have ongoing discussions. The names that have appeared in the press are not incorrect names. As I said, discussions with the players are ongoing." he expressed.
'IF HE WANTS, HE WILL PLAY'
Speaking about the current situation of Rafa Silva, Kılıç said, "Rafa Silva has joined the camp. He is participating in the training sessions at the camp. As a club, we have no issues with Sergen, our technical team, or ourselves. If he wants, he will play. It completely depends on him; there is nothing for us to do. The normal process continues. If he wants, he will play." he stated.
