For the personnel of the 112 Emergency Call Center, who respond to citizens' reports as quickly as possible on a 24-hour basis, false calls create a significant burden. Hakan Kapan, the Director of the Kırıkkale 112 Emergency Call Center, stated that uninterrupted service is provided 7 days a week to ensure the safety of citizens' lives and property, and said, "The effective and healthy operation of this system is possible with calls being made correctly, appropriately, and for their intended purpose. In this regard, while we continuously carry out the training of our personnel, we are also trying to increase the recognition and awareness of 112 Emergency Call Centers."

Kapan, giving examples of interesting calls received by the call center, said, "We receive calls that do not fall under the category of emergency calls and sometimes leave us astonished. Examples include those who call our line to check if their repaired mobile phone is receiving sound, those who ask about ticket prices claiming they want to buy a train ticket, those who request us to bring their salary, those who seek support stating they want to get married, or individuals claiming they want to go to Mars after speaking with Elon Musk."
"A 15,000 TL ADMINISTRATIVE FINE IS IMPOSED"
Kapan expressed that such calls may seem interesting at first glance, but every unnecessary call leads to a loss of time in responding to real emergency cases, emphasizing the vital importance of citizens using the 112 Emergency Call Line only in genuine emergencies. He noted that, according to regulations, a fine of 1,500 TL is imposed for false calls, and those found to have made false reports face an administrative fine of 15,000 TL, reminding that these fines will be doubled in case of recurrence.
