The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the drone attack attempt on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian Ministry of Defense shared images of a drone (UAV) that was shot down during an attempted attack on the official residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region on December 29.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that "Ukraine attempted to attack the official residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region with drones (UAVs)," and mentioned that Russia would reconsider its position in negotiations.
ATTACK WITH 91 DRONES
Lavrov emphasized that Ukraine resorted to "state terrorism," stating, "The Kiev regime attempted to attack the official residence of the Russian president in the Novgorod region with 91 drones on the night of December 28 to December 29. As a result of the attack, there were no deaths, injuries, or any damage."
Lavrov indicated that Russia would not withdraw from negotiations regarding Ukraine due to the attack, stating, "Russia's negotiation approach will be reconsidered in light of the Kiev regime's definitive shift to a policy of state terrorism."
ZELENSKY SAID 'WE DID NOT ATTACK'
Lavrov also mentioned that Russia would respond to the attack. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that they did not attempt an attack.
