Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who is detained in a drug investigation, gave a statement for 3 hours to benefit from effective remorse. Ersoy, who said, "I did not procure drugs. They were present in the environments," provided the names of some individuals with whom he used drugs to the prosecutor. It was also learned that Ersoy accused a person named A.G., with whom he was in the same environment many times.
Former Habertürk TV General Manager Mehmet Akif Ersoy gave an additional statement lasting 3 hours to the prosecutor to benefit from effective remorse in the drug investigation he is detained in. It was learned that Ersoy, who is a confessing witness, revealed some names of individuals he used drugs with, and an investigation has been initiated against these individuals.

In his statement, Ersoy said, "I did not procure drugs. He was present in the environments I went to. I did not procure drugs from anyone. He was present in the environments I went to. I did not ask where it came from."
ACCUSED A NAME
According to the news by Erdal Kılınç from Serbestiyet; the statements of suspects who previously benefited from the provisions of effective remorse were also asked to Ersoy. It was stated that Ersoy accused a person named A.G., with whom he had been in the same environment many times, and shared the names of some other users with the prosecutor's office. An investigation has been initiated regarding the names provided by Ersoy.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
In the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Mehmet Akif Ersoy was detained by gendarmerie teams on December 9, and was questioned on charges of "purchasing, possessing, using drugs and facilitating their use." In his initial statement, Ersoy denied the allegations, but it was determined through a test conducted at the Forensic Medicine Institute that he had used drugs. After being detained for 19 days, Ersoy went to the prosecutor's office with his lawyer Hüseyin Kaya, stating that he had given a new statement and felt remorse. After his statement, he was sent back to prison.
