EuroLeague decided that Israeli teams Hapoel Tel Aviv would play their remaining matches in Bulgaria and Maccabi Tel Aviv in Serbia due to the ongoing conflicts in the country. EuroLeague had banned Russian teams following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

ISRAELI TEAMS WILL PLAY THEIR MATCHES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
Due to security concerns, EuroLeague has decided that Hapoel Tel Aviv will play its remaining home matches in Bulgaria, while Maccabi Tel Aviv will play in Serbia. In an official statement made by EuroLeague officials, it was stated that, in line with the recent developments in Israel and the recommendations of local authorities, the remaining matches hosted by these two Israeli clubs will be played on neutral ground.
RUSSIAN TEAMS HAD BEEN BANNED
Following this decision, the previous decision made by EuroLeague against Russian teams came to mind. In 2022, after Russia's attack on Ukraine, EuroLeague had banned Russian clubs from the league and completely terminated the participation of Russian teams in the league.
