GOVERNORATE DENIES THE CLAIM OF "PORK SERVED WITH STEW"
A statement came from the Aydın Governorship regarding the claims that pork was served with stew in the Efeler district of Aydın. The Governorship stated that the incident occurred in 2015, but there were no reports or official applications regarding the claims of serving pork at that time, and it was noted that various amounts of pork were seized at addresses belonging to a person named C.C., mentioned in the claim, in 2016.
It was also emphasized in the statement that the claims were perceived as 'a current event', stating, "Recently, news regarding the statement of a person named C.C. claiming that '500 kilograms of pork were served at a charity event for the people of Aydın in 2015' has created a false perception in the public that this action is a current situation."
“NO REPORT OR OFFICIAL APPLICATION”
Investigations revealed that the claim in question belonged to the year 2015, but it was determined that there were no reports or official applications regarding the alleged incident during that year. Furthermore, various amounts of pork were detected during inspections conducted at the specified addresses based on reports received by the Efeler District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry regarding the person named C.C. in 2016, and necessary administrative and judicial actions were taken in accordance with the relevant legislation due to these identified irregularities.
The statement included, "Control and inspection activities carried out under the coordination of our Governorship to protect public health and ensure food safety are being conducted meticulously and decisively throughout the province within the framework of the legislation."
