Businessman Aydın Doğan's Doğan Holding has decided to transfer Ditaş, one of Turkey's largest original spare parts manufacturing companies, to BDY Group İnşaat A.Ş.
Doğan Holding has decided to transfer its 68.24% stake in the publicly traded Ditaş Doğan Yedek Parça İmalat ve Teknik A.Ş., one of Turkey's largest manufacturers of original spare parts with an annual production capacity of 7 million 800 thousand units, to BDY Group İnşaat A.Ş. The sale and transfer of Doğan Holding's shares will be completed after the approval of the Competition Authority.
SUPPLYING PRODUCTS TO THE GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE MARKET
Founded in 1972, Ditaş produces more than 7 million units annually in the manufacturing of vehicle infrastructure parts such as steering arms, tie rods, control arms, suspension arms, stabilizer arms, and V tie rods, supplying products to both the Turkish and global automotive markets. Recently, Ditaş has also increased its activities in the production of sheet metal parts, sheet metal molds, hot and cold forged parts, and pipes for the automotive industry.

Sharing his evaluations on the matter, Doğan Holding CEO Çağlar Göğüş stated, "As Doğan Holding, we continue our efforts to create a focused and simplified portfolio. In this context, while deepening and growing in our main sectors, which we see as our core areas, we are withdrawing from areas where we believe we can grow with investors who have a different investment approach and focus. In this context, after the interest of BDY Group, one of Turkey's significant investment groups, in Ditaş, which has been part of our Group since 1990, we have agreed to transfer all of our shares in Ditaş."
