1,695 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
According to the information shared by Minister Yerlikaya, operations against drugs were conducted in 73 provinces, including Gaziantep, Ankara, Adana, Izmir, Konya, Samsun, Antalya, Istanbul, Mersin, Sanliurfa, Manisa, Balıkesir, Bursa, Hatay, Diyarbakır, Kayseri, Muğla, Aydın, Kocaeli, Osmaniye, Tekirdağ, Denizli, Zonguldak, Eskişehir, Van, Sivas, Kütahya, Malatya, Afyonkarahisar, Kırklareli, Kahramanmaraş, Amasya, Karabük, Ağrı, Çorum, Erzincan, Karaman, Kastamonu, Niğde, Sakarya, Adıyaman, Erzurum, Trabzon, Giresun, Kırıkkale, Uşak, Batman, Düzce, Aksaray, Çanakkale, Edirne, Bartın, Elazığ, Isparta, Muş, Nevşehir, Yalova, Ordu, Bilecik, Bitlis, Ardahan, Kars, Kilis, Rize, Hakkari, Sinop, Mardin, Artvin, Bingöl, Bolu, Burdur, Tokat, and Yozgat. A total of 2,548 teams, 6,350 personnel, 18 aircraft, and 37 narcotic detection dogs participated in the operations conducted over the last 2 weeks, resulting in the arrest of 1,695 suspects.
