INVESTIGATION BEING CLOSELY MONITORED
In a statement made by the Libyan Government of National Unity, it was noted that the Ministry of Transport has formed a specialized team to monitor the investigation into the accident and gather information about the circumstances of the incident. It was stated that the delegation would prepare a detailed report after completing their work and submit it to the relevant Libyan authorities.
NEW ASSIGNMENT FOLLOWING THE FIRST DELEGATION
It was recalled that Libya had also sent a delegation to Turkey immediately after the plane crash to follow up on the matter. It was noted that the newly sent expert team would focus on technical examinations.
5 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE ACCIDENT
The jet carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff Mohammed al-Haddad and his accompanying delegation crashed near Haymana district of Ankara on December 23. It was reported that the 5-member military delegation and the flight crew lost their lives in the accident.
