In the Çermik district of Diyarbakır, an explosion occurred in the heating boiler of a facility producing cheese, injuring 6 people, 2 of them seriously. The incident took place in the morning at a single-story facility located in the rural Bintaş neighborhood where cheese production is carried out. An explosion occurred in the facility's heating boiler for reasons yet to be determined. While 6 people were injured, health, fire brigade, Çermik Municipality Search and Rescue, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

THE CONDITION OF TWO INJURED IS SERIOUS

The injured were transported to Çermik State Hospital by ambulances. Among the injured, 2 individuals in serious condition were transferred to hospitals in Diyarbakır. The walls of the facility collapsed due to the impact of the explosion, and Çermik District Governor Adem Karataş also arrived at the scene to gather information from the authorities.

An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
