THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE MADE A WRITTEN STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT

In a written statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the following expressions were included:

"Based on the instructions given within the scope of the ongoing investigations into the irregularities committed by members of the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization in the 2012 KPSS and 2012 judicial and administrative judge/prosecutor exam investigations, by the Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it has been determined that some suspects, while using the encrypted communication tool bylock, distributed the KPSS and Judge/Prosecutor exam questions that they unlawfully obtained before the exam, while some suspects received these questions and stayed in secret study houses created by the organization to prepare their members for the aforementioned exams. There is substantial evidence against them regarding membership, affiliation, and contact with the organization, including civil individuals. A total of 16 suspects, including expelled judges/prosecutors, tax inspectors, BTK personnel, land registry and cadastre personnel, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism personnel, have been ordered to be detained in 12 provinces centered in Ankara, starting from April 7, 2026, as part of the simultaneous operation."

Operations for the capture of the suspects and their transfer to our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office are ongoing by the teams of the Financial Crimes Investigation Branch of the Ankara Provincial Police Department.
