He mentioned that the fires broke out in Kavaklıdere, Köyceğiz, Ortaca, and Dalaman, saying, "The biggest fire is here. All our teams are here. The land vehicles of our Forest Regional Directorate, fire trucks, water tankers, and construction machinery from our Metropolitan Municipality, as well as all our neighboring municipalities and our AFAD crisis center, have gathered, led by one of our deputy governors."

Akbıyık stated that the police and gendarmerie's water tankers and fire trucks are also in the area, and he said, "We are trying to bring the fire under control. The fire is in a very large area. There is a strong wind, which unfortunately makes the struggle more difficult. So far, we have evacuated 11 citizens from two houses. There are one or two old structures that are burning. Thank God, there is currently no problem regarding safety. We are trying to take all necessary precautions. We may evacuate other households in Taşbaşı Neighborhood. We will act according to the situation of the fire."

According to a statement from the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate, 37 water tankers, 12 water supply vehicles, 5 bulldozers, and 225 forest personnel have been dispatched to the fire area in Dalaman Taşbaşı Neighborhood.

Meanwhile, the forest fire that broke out in Ortaca district has been partially brought under control with the intervention of ground teams. Firefighting and fire brigade teams from the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate were dispatched to intervene in the fire that broke out in the forested area of Okçular Neighborhood. In the region where there is a strong wind, the teams are continuing their efforts to bring the flames under control. While the fire in the area has been partially brought under control, the teams are continuing their cooling efforts.
