The incident occurred in the evening at an apartment on Çeltik Street, Uzunkaldırım Avenue, in the Abdurrahman neighborhood. The young girl, who came to the apartment on the third floor where they had moved in a day earlier, found her mother, Günnaz Cancı, stabbed in the chest in the bathroom. Following the girl's report after finding her mother in a pool of blood, police and medical teams were dispatched to the house.
