Gram gold started the week with an increase, trading at 5,538 TL. The quarter gold reached 9,381 TL, while the republic gold hit 37,380 TL. Financial analyst İslam Memiş stated that he expects a volatile trend in gold prices in November, indicating that it is not suitable for buying in the short term. Memiş expressed that the long-term targets remain valid, with 8,000 TL for gram gold and 4,800 dollars for ounce gold.
Starting the week with an upward trend, the gram gold is being bought at 5,537 TL and sold at 5,538 TL in the morning hours. The 22-carat bracelet is trading at a buying price of 5,209 TL and a selling price of 5,232 TL; the quarter gold is at 9,311 TL, the half gold at 18,621 TL, and the republic gold at 37,129 TL.
REŞAT AND ATA GOLD ON THE RISE
As of November 10, Reşat gold is being bought at 37,161 TL and sold at 37,412 TL. Ata gold, on the other hand, attracts the attention of investors with a buying price of 37,765 TL and a selling price of 38,718 TL. Full gold is being bought at 36,620 TL and sold at 37,340 TL.
"IT MAY RISE UP TO 4,150 DOLLARS"
Financial analyst İslam Memiş stated that despite the strong start of gold prices in the new week, the volatile trend will continue. Memiş said, "The resting period of gold prices continues in November as well. The ounce gold can rise above the 4,000 dollar level, up to 4,150 dollars. However, we may see a pullback after this level," he expressed.
EXPECTATION OF 8,000 TL FOR 2026
Reminding that inflation data may be delayed due to the government shutdown in the U.S., Memiş said, "This situation may create uncertainty in the short term, but I am not pessimistic. By 2026, the levels of 8,000 TL for gram gold and 4,800 dollars for ounce gold are resistance levels," he stated.
"THOSE WHO DO NOT NEED CASH SHOULD WAIT"
Stating that gold will continue to yield returns in the long term, Memiş said, "If our citizens do not need cash, it is not a suitable time for buying in the short term. It would be healthier for the ounce gold to drop below 4,000 dollars. The direction is still upward in the long term," he evaluated.
