In the fourth wave of operations within the investigation into the Ahbap Association, the statement given to the prosecutor by suspect Nejdet Kuy, who was detained and ordered to be arrested, has been obtained. Kuy's statements included notable claims. Kuy alleged that 70 million TL of the advance payment sent to his company for 352 steel houses planned to be built in the earthquake zone was transferred through Cemil Yeşil's company and intermediary individuals to be given as a 'loan' to Haluk Levent.
Within the scope of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, the statement given to the prosecutor by suspect Nejdet Kuy, who was detained in the fourth wave operation and whose arrest was decided, has been obtained.
I DELIVERED 800 CONTAINERS
Kuy, who stated that his first contact with the Ahbap Association was through his relative Cemil Yeşil, said that he was contacted due to the association's need for containers and that they signed a contract for 800 containers initially. Stating that he delivered the containers directly to the officials at the disaster coordination center, Kuy said, "I completed the 800 containers within the specified time. I delivered all of them with delivery and receipt records. Their invoices were issued, and their VAT was paid. I didn't even meet Haluk Levent during this process."
"I PRODUCED A TOTAL OF 3,400 CONTAINERS"
Kuy, who noted that after the first contract, he was asked for 2,600 more containers, said he produced and delivered 50 to 55 containers per day. Kuy explained that he later bid for the steel housing project and signed a contract for 352 houses, and he claimed that the total payments he received from the association to date are consistent with the invoices.
"I GAVE A LOAN OF 70 MILLION LIRA FOR HALUK LEVENT"
Kuy alleged that after the advance payment for the steel housing project, Cemil Yeşil and Aytaç Ağadağ conveyed to him that Haluk Levent had a loan request, saying, "From this money, I sent 55 million lira to CY Motor, Cemil Yeşil's company. Additionally, I withdrew 15 million lira in cash and gave it to them." Stating that he spoke with Haluk Levent for the first time in a video call, Kuy said, "He told me he took a 70 million lira loan from Pegas Global and that he would pay it back."
"HE GAVE BOUNCED CHECKS"
Kuy, stating that he later met Haluk Levent face to face to collect the debt, said, "He gave me 4-5 checks. Two or three of them bounced. After the checks I collected, he asked for a loan again. The money I sent to Yeliz Kaya is also related to this process."
"I DID NOT TAKE A SINGLE PENNY I DID NOT EARN"
Kuy, who said he completed a total of 3,400 containers, 56 houses, 4 schools, and a youth center in the earthquake zone, stated, "I did not take a single penny from the association that I did not earn during this process. I am here today because I had to lend him money due to Haluk Levent's manipulations. All my documents and invoices are open to audit."
