CLIMBED ONTO THE HOSPITAL ROOF

The incident occurred in the Gülderen neighborhood of Antakya district in Hatay. A person identified as A.Z., who was receiving treatment at Gülderen Training and Research Hospital and was known to have mental health issues, climbed onto the hospital roof. Relatives and teams who noticed the person on the roof, about 12 meters high, tried to persuade him to come down.

A relative tried to convince the person, who attempted suicide by saying, “Let all the journalists come,” by saying, “We have watermelon, let's cut it, come.” After a while, the person was convinced and was brought down from the roof and taken to the hospital's ward for control purposes.
