Galatasaray drew 3-3 with Rennes in a friendly match. Having failed to win their last three friendlies, the yellow-reds' fans protested against the management with chants due to the delay in transfers.
Galatasaray hosted French side Rennes at RAMS Park as part of their new season preparations. The match ended in a 3-3 draw.
OSIMHEN OPENED THE CURTAIN
The red-yellow team took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute with a goal scored by Victor Osimhen following a corner kick organization. Visiting team Rennes equalized with Esteban Lepaul's goal in the 26th minute, and the first half ended 1-1.
RENNES CAME BACK
Galatasaray, who started the second half effectively, took the lead again with Gabriel Sara's goal in the 50th minute. However, Rennes made it 3-2 with goals scored by Esteban Lepaul in the 58th and 61st minutes. The red-yellows saved the draw with a penalty goal by Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 90+4th minute, and the match ended 3-3.
PENALTY DECISION CHANGED
In the 8th minute of the match, referee Oğuzhan Çakır awarded a penalty in favor of Rennes. After the assistant referee's warning, Çakır re-evaluated the position and changed his decision, canceling the penalty.
GALATASARAY CANNOT WIN
Galatasaray, who defeated Ümraniyespor 5-1 in their first preparatory match before the new season, then lost 2-0 to Monza and 3-0 to Venezia. With the Rennes draw, the red-yellow team failed to secure a win in their last three preparatory matches.

One of the events that marked the match was the transfer chants rising from the stands. Fans, who reacted to the management that only added Lesley Ugochukwu to the squad during the transfer period, chanted "Dursun Özbek, where is the transfer?" and "Our patience is running out, where are the transfers?"
