After Tuzla Mayor Eren Ali Bingöl's switch to the AK Party, Chief Advisor and Council Member Hasan Özdemir announced his resignation from his advisory position. Özdemir emphasized that he would continue his duties as a Tuzla and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council Member.
Following the participation of Istanbul Tuzla Mayor Eren Ali Bingöl in the AK Party, a new development occurred within the municipality. Mayor's Advisor and Council Member Hasan Özdemir announced to the public via a written statement that he has left his position as the mayor's advisor.

Özdemir stated that he resigned from his advisory role, emphasizing that with the authority and trust given to him by the public, he will continue his duties as both a Tuzla Municipal Council Member and an Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal Council Member. Özdemir made the following statements on the matter:

Hasan Özdemir, evaluating his resignation within the framework of his principles and understanding of service, drew attention to his respect for politics and the nation, noting:

For us, the real position is the throne we establish in the hearts of our neighbors."

In the continuation of his statement, Özdemir stated that he will continue to defend the rights of the city, concluding his words as follows:
