SECOND WAVE MANIPULATION OPERATIONS ON BORSA ISTANBUL
In the statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the following was stated: "Within the scope of our Chief Public Prosecutor's file numbered 2024/293366, the investigation into the crimes of Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes, Violating the Capital Markets Law, and Money Laundering from Criminal Proceeds has been expanded. Following a recent report from the Capital Markets Board, which identified manipulation of the shares of Pamel Renewable Electricity Production Joint Stock Company (PAMEL) and submitted a written application, a second wave operation has been carried out within the ongoing investigation.
11 PEOPLE DETAINED
In this context, suspects located in Istanbul and Van provinces, namely Ahmet K., Botan Ç., Eda Y., Enes Ö.K., Eyüp B., Hasan G., İhsan K.B., Kamil B., Kenan D., Kerim İ.B., and Sinan D. have been detained, and search-seizure measures have been applied at the identified addresses. Detailed examinations regarding the relevant individuals and companies are ongoing. The investigation is being conducted meticulously and from multiple angles."
