The journalist Enver Aysever, who was detained due to the statement in a YouTube broadcast, "Being right-wing is a crime. When you are right-wing, you become immoral or your morality becomes immorality," has been arrested.
The journalist Enver Aysever, who was detained in the late hours, has had a decision made regarding his case.
After completing his procedures at the police station, Aysever was brought to court, where he was referred to the judge with a request for arrest on the charge of "inciting hatred and hostility in the public or humiliation." Enver Aysever was arrested by the Peace Criminal Court.
WHAT DID AYSEVER SAY?
The famous journalist stated in his broadcast on his YouTube channel, "Being right-wing is a crime. When you are right-wing, you become immoral, or your morality becomes immorality. Right-wing ideology has no conscience; it trades in religion and nationalism. When you see a conscientious person, even if they are religious, they are leftist. The first condition of being human is to be leftist. A leftist cannot harm animals, trees, or people," he expressed.
"THEY DISTORTED MY WORDS"
After his words drew reactions, Aysever stated on social media, "As always, they have distorted my words! I commented on the words of Hasan İmamoğlu. The description I made about right-wingers was about types like those who plunder state property, destroy nature, fake religious people, and wealthy contractors who exploit nationalism (...) I gave an example through reasoning. Unfortunately, they targeted me again without watching the broadcast. Was I surprised? No!"
