In Antalya, the Turkish folk music artist Mustafa Kahtalı, known as "Kahtalı Mıçe," passed away in the hospital where he was receiving treatment. He was laid to rest in his hometown of Adıyaman. It was noticeable that Kahtalı's coffin was adorned with roses, and the funeral ceremony, which was attended by a large crowd, was filled with tears.
The funeral of Mustafa Kahtalı, who was born in the Kahta district of Adıyaman and passed away in the hospital where he had been receiving treatment for a long time due to his illness, was brought to his hometown of Adıyaman by plane in the morning hours.
TRANSPORTED TO KAHTA BY CONVOY
Kahtalı's funeral was taken to Kahta by convoy from the airport. A ceremony was held for Mustafa Kahtalı at the Kahtalı Mıçe Cultural Center, which bears his name.
Attending the ceremony were Adıyaman Governor Osman Varol, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Ahmet Aydın, AK Party Adıyaman MPs İshak Şan and Resul Kurt, AK Party Bingöl MP Feyzi Berdibek, Adıyaman University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Keleş, Kahta District Governor Muhammed Üsame Soysal, Gazipaşa District Governor Selami Korkutata, Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere, Kahta Mayor Mehmet Can Hallaç, representatives of political parties, folk music artists Yunus Bülbül and Mehmet Seske, his family, loved ones, and citizens.
BURIED WITH TEARS
After the speeches, Kahtalı Mıçe's coffin, adorned with roses, was carried on shoulders and taken to the Çağrı Mosque. After the prayer, Kahtalı's funeral was buried in the Karşıyaka Municipal Cemetery with tears.
