A romantic relationship began to develop between the two, who became close in a short time. It was claimed that Kızmaz convinced the young woman that she could earn high profits through investment sites abroad and took a total of 232 thousand lira in installments.
HE SECRETLY RECORDED THEIR MOMENTS TOGETHER
It was alleged that after a while, the parties were together in a room at the courthouse where M.A. worked. It was claimed that Halil Kızmaz secretly recorded these moments with his mobile phone.
BLACKMAIL ALLEGATION WHEN SHE ASKED FOR HER MONEY BACK
The young woman filed a complaint against Kızmaz for "fraud" when she could not get her money back. Following this, it was alleged that the suspect began to threaten M.A. with footage he claimed showed them together. It was claimed that the messages contained statements indicating that if the complaint was not withdrawn, the footage would be sent to her family and close circle.
THE SUSPECT DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS
According to a report by Ali Rıza Akbulut from Sabah newspaper; Halil Kızmaz, who gave a statement at the prosecutor's office, admitted that the phone line belonged to him but said he did not remember the messages in question. Kızmaz also claimed that there was no romantic relationship between him and M.A. and asserted that the person in the footage allegedly on the phone was not him.
The indictment stated that Kızmaz had a previous conviction for "blackmail." The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit requesting the suspect be punished for "blackmail."
