MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated, "Developments have led to a louder discussion of scenarios for a Third World War. Under these circumstances, we propose that the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres calls for the US, Russia, China, Turkey, and the EU to develop a new measure through the 'World Peace Council' mechanism. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli sent a message to the program hosted by Ahmet Yeşiltepe on tv100.

“IT HAS RESULTED IN A THREAT TO PEACE IN THE WORLD”

According to a post made on MHP's social media account, Bahçeli stated in his message, "The failure of the ongoing talks between Iran and the USA in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, has resulted in a threat to peace in the world."

“PROPOSAL FOR A WORLD PEACE COUNCIL”

Bahçeli continued his remarks as follows: "The developments that have occurred have led to the scenarios of World War III being discussed more loudly. Under these circumstances, we propose that, with the call of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the USA, Russia, China, Turkey, and the EU develop a new measure through a 'World Peace Council' mechanism. We believe that Turkey could host this initiative."
