"I acted in 397 episodes, and about 20 years of my life were spent on this project. It was very valuable but also quite exhausting work. We had decided to take a break for a while. Now I see that the series is starting to be wanted again; if it is meant to be, it will happen," which gave hope to his fans.

The actor, whose full name is Muhammed Necati Şaşmaz, was born in 1971 in Elazığ. Şaşmaz, who is the brother of Raci Şaşmaz and Zübeyr Şaşmaz, completed his education in Canada and worked in the tourism sector. After living in the USA for about six years, he returned to Turkey. His meeting with director Osman Sınav in 2000 became a turning point in his life. Şaşmaz, who went to the meeting expecting to join the script team, unexpectedly received an acting offer and stepped into the Kurtlar Vadisi project.
Years later, even a single post he made becoming a trending topic once again revealed that the actor's large fan base still wants to see him on screen.
