Two suspects who fired shots into the air at a wedding ceremony in Bolu were captured in a gendarmerie operation. The suspects, who had a large number of unlicensed firearms at their homes, were arrested.
In Bolu, during a wedding ceremony, two suspects were identified as having fired a weapon in a populated area and were captured in an operation conducted by gendarmerie teams. The two suspects, from whom a large number of unlicensed firearms were seized at their homes, were arrested.
The Bolu Provincial Gendarmerie Command Public Order Branch teams took action upon receiving information that shots were fired in a populated area during a wedding ceremony in the city.
THUGS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
As a result of the meticulous work carried out by the teams, it was determined that the individuals who fired into the air were K.Ş. and M.E.K. In the operation conducted at the suspects' addresses, searches revealed; 1 unlicensed pump-action shotgun, 3 unlicensed shotguns, and 2 unlicensed blank-firing pistols.
THEY WERE ARRESTED
K.Ş. and M.E.K., who were processed for the crime of 'Violation of Law No. 6136', were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the gendarmerie. The suspects were arrested by the court they were brought before and were delivered to the Gerede L-Type Closed Penal Institution.
