As part of the on-site transformation efforts initiated in the old settlements of Kahramanmaraş, sample apartments have been completed in the earthquake housing projects.
In Kahramanmaraş, the on-site transformation works initiated at the intersection of the neighborhoods of Kuyucak, İsa Divanlı, Divanlı, and Kümbet-Sarayaltı after the earthquakes on February 6 are nearing completion.
SAMPLE APARTMENTS HAVE EMERGED
In the area, which is among the oldest settlement areas of the city, earthquake-resistant, modern residential and commercial buildings have risen in place of the demolished structures. Sample apartments have also emerged in the area where construction is largely completed.
WIDE ROADS, MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE, REGULAR LIVING SPACES...
Within the scope of on-site transformation, projects covering approximately a thousand residential and commercial units have been implemented. While the new buildings are constructed in accordance with the current earthquake regulations, the old neighborhood structure, known for its narrow and congested streets for many years, has given way to wide roads, modern infrastructure, and organized living spaces.
In the ongoing works in the region, not only new buildings but also infrastructure, road, and environmental arrangements have been completed simultaneously. The property owners who lost their homes after the earthquake stated that the rising housing is a hope for them, expressing that preparing to live in safer and more modern buildings in the same neighborhood has given them morale.

Earthquake survivor Ali Odunkıran stated, "The new buildings, new residences, there is unprecedented service. It has become very beautiful; I have known this place since my childhood and youth. It was chaotic here, but now it is turning into a city."

Earthquake survivor Harun Özdemir said, "The construction works initiated in the region are nearing completion. These historic neighborhoods have been transformed into reserve areas through on-site transformation. We thank our president and minister. It is a wonderful thing that these residences have been built in such a short time."
