Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Güneysu Tenzile Erdoğan State Hospital, Erdoğan shared an important development regarding the GÖKBEY helicopter, which has been developed with domestic and national resources.
DOMESTICALLY PRODUCED HELICOPTERS BECOMING AMBULANCES

He stated that the domestically produced GÖKBEY helicopter will also be used as an ambulance helicopter, expressing that this will open the door to a new era in healthcare services.
3 GÖKBEY HELICOPTERS JOINING THE HEALTH FLEET
President Erdoğan stated that 3 GÖKBEY ambulance helicopters, which have completed civil certification this year, will be included in the health fleet, saying, "We will, God willing, use our domestic and national helicopter GÖKBEY as an ambulance helicopter as well. I wish it to be beneficial from now on."

Gökbey is a general-purpose helicopter designed, developed, and produced by Turkish engineers at TUSAŞ facilities, tailored to Turkey's geographical and climatic conditions for use in the Turkish Armed Forces and civil aviation sectors.
