With the approach of the month of Ramadan, cash support and food parcel assistance provided to low-income households have come back to the agenda. Citizens who wish to benefit from the Ramadan assistance in 2026 are researching how the application process works and where the transactions can be made. Social support programs are carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Family and Social Services and are implemented through Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations (SYDV) operating under the governorships in provinces and districts.

Those who want to benefit from Ramadan support can apply in two different ways:
Online application via e-Government
Social assistance applications can be made electronically through the e-Government portal. After logging into the system with the Turkish ID number and password, the "Social Assistance Application" service is selected, the relevant form is filled out, and the application is completed.
Direct application to SYDV
Citizens can apply in person to the SYDV in their district with their identity documents. During the application, household income, current social status, and need criteria are taken into account.
HOW TO LEARN THE RESULT OF THE RAMADAN AID APPLICATION?
Applicants can also track the results through the e-Government system. The status of the application can be viewed through the "Ministry of Family and Social Services – Social Assistance Information Inquiry" screen.
WHO RECEIVES RAMADAN AID?
The cash and in-kind assistance provided within the scope of Ramadan is generally aimed at those whose household income is below the determined poverty line, those who do not have a regular income, and those in need without social security. After the applications, a social review process is conducted by SYDV teams. As a result of the evaluation, cash support or food assistance is provided to households deemed eligible.
