Four suspects attempted to rob a jeweler in Eyüpsultan. A struggle broke out between the jeweler and the assailants in the store. As a result of the gunfire opened by the assailants, the jeweler was injured in the shoulder. The assailants fled the scene in the van they arrived in.
A robbery attempt occurred at a jewelry store located on Girne Street in the Yeşilpınar neighborhood of Eyüpsultan district in Istanbul around 11:30. While one of the four armed suspects who arrived at the jewelry store in an SUV waited in the vehicle, three others quickly entered. A scuffle broke out as the jeweler, Mustafa K., defended himself to prevent the robbery.
THE ATTACKERS SHOT THE JEWELER
Mustafa K. was injured in the shoulder when the attackers fired their gun while fleeing. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Injured Mustafa K. was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention of the medical teams, and it was learned that he was not in critical condition.
THEY FLED THE SCENE
The police initiated a search for the suspects who fled the scene in their vehicle.

Abdullah Aksoy said, "We were working when we heard a noise. When we went outside, we saw that they had entered the jewelry store, which is our neighbor, to rob it. When they retaliated, they fired shots. There was an injury. I saw the men fleeing in a car. We ran to try to help and called an ambulance. The injured person's consciousness was intact. I saw someone getting into the car from behind, I don't know him. The car left quickly."
