Onur Kılınç, a dietitian who shared an image of a pig dressed in a women's chador on his social media account in the Menteşe district of Muğla, was released under judicial control but was re-arrested and detained after the prosecutor's office appealed.
In the Menteşe district of Muğla, dietitian Onur Kılınç shared an image of a pig dressed in a women's gown, created by artificial intelligence, on his social media account with the note, "I believe that the creativity of artificial intelligence has started to surpass human imagination; if I could sit down and draw such a picture, I would be proud of myself. I am sharing this because I like it very much."
HE WAS DETAINED AT HOME
While the post caused reactions, Kılınç was detained at his home in the Yenice neighborhood by police teams as part of an investigation initiated by the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
HE WAS RELEASED FIRST
During the search at his home, a laptop and two mobile phones were seized. After his procedures at the police station, Onur Kılınç was referred to the courthouse and released under judicial control with a travel ban imposed.
HE WAS ARRESTED AFTER AN APPEAL
After the appeal of the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Kılınç was detained again and arrested at the courthouse he was referred to.
