Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı stated that the situation of Portuguese footballer Rafa Silva remains uncertain and that a club offering a transfer fee of 15 million Euros could acquire the player.
Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı met with members of the press at a hotel in İzmir for a chat meeting.
'CAN THERE BE TRAINING LASTING 1.5 YEARS?'
President Adalı referred to his meeting with officials from the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) last week, stating, "What I needed in my meeting with the TFF was the president of the MHK. I do not believe that Ferhat Gündoğdu has authority over the referees. I will bring referees to every match if necessary. The main issue is not the TFF Board of Directors. The problem lies in the structure of the MHK. There are foreign trainers for VAR. Their costs are 10-15 thousand Euros. Can there be training lasting 1.5 years? I am not against local referees; if young Turkish referees make this mistake, that's acceptable, but it cannot be done this way. They are playing with our nerves," he expressed.
'WE EXPECT 15 MILLION EUROS'
Serdal Adalı also noted that the situation of Rafa Silva remains uncertain, saying, "The technical team is monitoring. Honestly, I haven't asked. If he wants to play, he will play. We expect 15 million Euros; whoever pays gets him. A signing fee was given to the player. This amount must be met. I told him, 'Play until the mid-season break, and then we will see.' Since the press conference we held with Coach Sergen, he has only spoken once with Murat Kılıç. Other than that, we have not had any communication," he stated.
