As part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, social media influencer and entrepreneur Sercan Yaşar was brought to the courthouse for questioning on charges of "drug possession" and "drug trafficking." Former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy was also arrested in connection with the same investigation.

SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER ARRESTED
Sercan Yaşar, known for his connections with well-known figures in the investigation and for participating in the launch events of numerous brands, was recently detained on charges of "possession of narcotic substances" and "drug trafficking." Yaşar was brought before the court and was arrested and sent to prison.
BROUGHT TO THE COURTHOUSE

WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of the investigation, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated proceedings against many individuals in recent months. During this process, 10 people, including former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy, were arrested on charges of "using, possessing, and facilitating the use of narcotic substances." It was also learned that news anchor Ela Rumeysa Cebeci was taken to the courthouse to give a statement.
