Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that the newly appointed Minister of Artificial Intelligence, Diella, is 'pregnant' in the fight against corruption. Rama stated that Minister Diella, who is responsible for Public Procurement, will soon give birth to 83 "mini Diellas."
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama presented his country's artificial intelligence strategy at the international Global Dialogue forum held in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Rama made striking statements about new projects ranging from the fight against corruption to the digital transformation of parliament.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MINISTER 'PREGNANT' At the beginning of his speech, Rama also mentioned the artificial intelligence minister 'Diella', who was appointed last year to oversee state tenders for the purpose of combating corruption. The Prime Minister announced that the "artificial intelligence" minister is "pregnant." Rama stated that Diella will transition to an advanced version in the upcoming period, saying, "Soon, 83 mini Diellas will be born."
WILL SERVE TO MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT It has been learned that the "mini Diellas" mentioned by Rama will be artificial intelligence-supported digital assistants specially designed for each member of parliament. These assistants will follow parliamentary sessions, record speeches, and provide real-time summaries to the members of parliament.
"WILL CARRY THE WISDOM OF THEIR MOTHERS" Speaking in a humorous tone, Rama emphasized the practical aspect of the application by saying, "Even when you go out for a coffee, this system will be able to tell you who said what." The Prime Minister also stated that each digital assistant will carry "the wisdom of their mother Diella."
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama THE ERA OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN JUDICIARY Rama, touching on the Albanian government's technology investments, also announced that they are working on a new project conducted in partnership with Microsoft. This system, referred to as the "artificial intelligence-supported public prosecution system," is said to accelerate data analysis in judicial processes and provide a more transparent operation in public audits. Rama added that digitalization will facilitate decision-making processes, but the final word will always be with humans.
