Ramazan Karabulut, a married car mechanic in Adana, was beaten and stabbed to death by his girlfriend and five others accompanying her. The Homicide Bureau teams, who initiated an investigation into the incident, examined the security camera footage in the area and identified the suspects' identities.
In Adana, on August 31st around 23.00, an incident occurred in Kabasakal neighborhood of Çukurova district. Married car mechanic Ramazan Karabulut had an argument with Selcan Ç., who was claimed to be his lover for some time. Selcan Ç. told her friend Talüt Yavuz (53) about the situation. Yavuz called Karabulut on the phone to talk and invited him to Rüzgarlı Tepe. Yavuz and Selcan Ç., along with Uğurcan Sergen Dokumacı (23), Kemal Elmasten (19), Murat Güngör (21), and H.Y. (15), met with Karabulut. They drank alcohol and had a conversation for a while, but an argument broke out between the parties. The incident quickly turned into a fight, and Selcan Ç. and the other 5 people with her beat Karabulut and stabbed him in the leg. Karabulut collapsed on the ground covered in blood and lost consciousness, and the suspects fled in a car.
THE BODY WAS FOUND BY SHEPHERDS
The next morning, shepherds who were grazing their animals in the area found Ramazan Karabulut lying motionless on the ground. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. During the examination conducted by healthcare professionals, it was determined that Karabulut had passed away. After the autopsy at Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue, Karabulut's body was buried by his relatives. The Homicide Bureau launched an investigation into the incident and identified the suspects by examining the security camera footage in the area. The suspects were detained in simultaneous raids conducted at their addresses. The suspects, taken to the police station, confessed to beating Ramazan Karabulut but claimed that they did not stab him with a knife.
5 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED
After the procedures at the police station, Selcan Ç., Talüt Yavuz, Uğurcan Sergen Dokumacı, Kemal Elmasten, and Murat Güngör were arrested by the court, while H.Y. was released under judicial control.
