Selen Görgüzel's 25-year-old daughter, İlknaz Bektaş, born from her marriage with Yılmaz Bektaş, was taken to the hospital recently with complaints of chest tightness and shortness of breath. Doctors determined that İlknaz Bektaş had air trapped in her chest and needed urgent surgery. It was learned that the cause of the illness was an electronic cigarette.

Bektaş, whose condition improved after the surgery, stated about her discomfort, "If I had been on a plane, I could have lost my life due to the pressure. My lung was leaking air due to the electronic cigarette and it was negatively affecting my heart rate. I advise everyone to stay away from electronic cigarettes."
