According to the written statement, "In the operation carried out by the teams of the Bursa Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch upon the instruction of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, actions were taken against 23 suspects. As a result of the operation, 21 suspects were captured and detained. While searches are ongoing at 24 residences, 8 company addresses, and 12 vehicles belonging to the suspects, it was reported that efforts to capture 2 suspects who are in hiding are continuing. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the investigation is being conducted meticulously and that developments will be shared with the public."

WHO IS TURGAY ERDEM?
He was born in 1959 in Bursa. He completed his primary education in the town of Orhangazi Yenisölöz and his secondary and high school education at Bursa Male High School. He entered Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture in 1977 and graduated in 1983. He started working as a freelance architect in Bursa in 1985. After taking various roles in the management of the Bursa Chamber of Architects, he was elected as the President of the Bursa Chamber of Architects for three terms starting from 1998. He served as the Vice President of the Bursa City Council between 2000 and 2004.
In the 2004 local elections, he was elected as a member of the Nilüfer Municipality Council on the list of the Republican People's Party. In 2006, he became the Deputy Mayor. Erdem was also elected as a council member in the local elections of 2009 and 2013, during which he continued to serve as deputy mayor.
