Authorities stated that there were two shops in the area during the collapse, one being a florist and the other a confectioner, and that at least two people were inside. It was reported that the injured were taken to the hospital, with some receiving treatment for fractures. Officials announced that the injured individuals were not in life-threatening condition.
According to initial assessments, the cause of this frightening collapse may be the excavation work being carried out at a nearby construction site. It is believed that the ground weakened due to the excavation, leading to the collapse.
