The Chief of General Staff of Libya, General Muhammad Ali Al-Haddad, who lost his life in a private plane crash in Haymana, Ankara, had been welcomed with an official ceremony in Ankara at the invitation of Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu. Haddad had also met with Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, in addition to Bayraktaroğlu.
A private jet carrying a 5-member Libyan military delegation that took off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport crashed in Haymana. There were no survivors from the Libyan delegation, which included Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammed Ali Al-Haddad.

Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammed Ali Al-Haddad had official meetings at the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff in Ankara, where he received a warm welcome and held discussions between the delegations.
HE HAD MET WITH MINISTER GÜLER
Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler had received Al-Haddad as a guest of General Staff Chief General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu. During the reception, General Staff Chief General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and Commander of the Land Forces General Metin Tokel were also present.
SINCERE WELCOME AT THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY
On the other hand, Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu had welcomed the guest chief of staff with an official ceremony. During the ceremony, the two commanders greeted each other warmly and listened to their countries' national anthems together.
After the ceremony, General Bayraktaroğlu held bilateral and inter-delegation meetings with Al-Haddad. Commander of the Land Forces General Metin Tokel and Commander of the Libyan Land Forces Lieutenant General Futuri Gribel also participated in the meetings.
