HE WAS RUN OVER BY THE GARBAGE TRUCK

The accident occurred on March 13 at around 3:00 PM in the Şükrüçavuş neighborhood of Mudanya district. The garbage truck with license plate 16 BJT 558, driven by T.B. from the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, stopped at the location where the garbage bins were on the beach. While the officials were collecting the trash, Serhat Aydoğdu, who was nearby with his family, began to feed the pigeons at the back of the garbage truck. Unaware of the small child, T.B. moved the vehicle after the officials collected the trash. At that moment, Aydoğdu was caught under the wheel. Upon notification from bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention by the medical team, Serhat Aydoğdu was taken to Mudanya State Hospital by ambulance, but despite all the efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved.
