Notably humble in his lifestyle, Abay stated, "We are retired, but we still continue to create." The TRT announcer, actor, and presenter Korhan Abay, who made a mark in an era, has been living away from the cameras for a long time. Recently spotted waiting for a bus in Nişantaşı, Abay spoke fondly about the old days.
The master artist reflected on the question "How are you, what are you doing?" with a smile, saying, "I’m fine, really, not bad. We are busy, you know. We retired, but we are still active. We are organizing our own corporate competitions. We are arranging games like quiz competitions and football matches. I’m actually quite busy."
"I SPEND TIME WITH MY DOGS"
Describing how his retirement days are going, Abay said, "We have dogs at home, and I take care of them. They are my friends." explaining his simple lifestyle.

Abay, who was watched on screens for years, stated, "Everyone knew me back then, but now not so many recognize me. This way, I can walk around comfortably." maintaining his modest demeanor.
Korhan Abay, expressing that his interest in theater continues, said, "A couple of offers came, one was a play by Sabahattin Ali. The other day, Ali Poyrazoğlu called me too; maybe we will do theater again. I miss the stages." signaling his return to the stage.
