Mayor Gülşah Durbay, who has been receiving treatment for colon cancer and has been hospitalized at Manisa City Hospital since December 1, was the subject of a statement regarding his health condition by the Chief Physician of Manisa City Hospital, Assoc. Dr. Serkan Saka.

In the statement, it was said, "Due to the existing multiple organ failure, the clinical condition of Şehzadeler Mayor Mr. Gülşah Durbay has worsened; in this context, our patient has been intubated and connected to a ventilator. His treatment is being continued under intensive care conditions."
