The decision regarding the minimum wage, set at a net amount of 28,075 lira and 50 kuruş for the year 2026, has been published in the Official Gazette. The announcement also stated that the minimum wage support will continue at a monthly rate of 1,270 lira during the period from January to December 2026.

The announcement of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission Decision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, in line with the decision taken at the meeting on December 23, 2025, the minimum wage for a day's normal work will be applied as 1100 lira for the period of January 1–December 31, 2026.

MINIMUM WAGE SUPPORT IS 1270 LIRA PER MONTH

The announcement also stated that the minimum wage support will continue at 1270 lira per month during the period of January–December 2026. It was noted that a decision was made to reorganize the procedures and principles to be applied within the scope of the support.

The decision was made by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission established within the framework of the provisions of the Presidential Decree related to Article 39 of the Labor Law No. 4857.

WORK COMPLETED BY MAJORITY VOTE

It was stated that the Commission completed its work, which started on December 12, 2025, by majority vote. The announcement indicated that the worker representatives did not attend the meeting, but the decision was made unanimously by those who participated. The minimum wage determined by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will come into effect as of January 1, 2026.

NET MINIMUM WAGE IS 28,075 LIRA
