The body of 54-year-old epilepsy patient Okay Dulundu, who was found in an irrigation canal 18 days after going missing in the Manavgat district of Antalya, was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution after the scene investigations.
A missing person with epilepsy, who had not been heard from since December 18 in the Manavgat district of Antalya, was found dead in an irrigation canal. The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality fire department and Manavgat Police Department teams were mobilized upon receiving a report of a male body in the irrigation canal on 3015 Street in Emek Neighborhood.
SIBLING HAD FILED A MISSING PERSON REPORT
The individual, who was retrieved from the canal by the fire department team that arrived at the scene, was identified as Okay Dulundu, a 54-year-old man with epilepsy and a 61% disability, who had left his home in the Yukarı Pazarcı Neighborhood on Thursday, December 18. His sister had filed a missing person report at the Cumhuriyet Police Station on Friday, December 19. Dulundu's body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution after the scene investigation.
