It was noticed that the "Highlights" section on Cebeci's Instagram profile was removed and there was a significant decrease in the number of people she follows.
Changes made to the social media account of famous broadcaster Ela Rümeysa Cebeci, who was arrested as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and brought back to the courthouse for questioning yesterday, drew attention.
It was noticed that the "Highlights" section on Cebeci's Instagram account had been removed and there was a significant decrease in the number of people she follows.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Broadcaster Ela Rümeysa Cebeci was detained in the drug investigation and was later released. A few days later, during her visit to the courthouse for questioning, a drug substance was detected in a sample taken from her hair during the examination at the Forensic Medicine Institute. A detention order was issued for Cebeci.
AT THE COURTHOUSE FOR ADDITIONAL STATEMENT
A new development has occurred regarding the detained Cebeci. The famous broadcaster was brought to the courthouse to give an additional statement. After her statement, Cebeci was sent back to prison.
WHO IS ELA RÜMEYSA CEBECİ?
Ela Rümeysa Cebeci was born on May 31, 1988, in Istanbul. She became known for her program on Istanbul FM radios in the 2010s before appearing on screens. Ela Rümeysa Cebeci started her career as a reporter on TRT 1, while also beginning her acting career. The first series she acted in was "Kanıt" in 2011. Cebeci, who also appeared in a series called "Nuri" in the same year, continued her acting career by taking roles in the film "Fetih 1453" in 2012 and the series "Şevkat Yerimdar."
Starting her career as a radio programmer, Cebeci later turned to television journalism and worked for channels such as Habertürk and Show TV. With acting training and having participated in several series projects, Cebeci also teaches communication courses as a lecturer.
