The incident occurred in the Bahçelievler neighborhood. Eda Kerim Tekin, a nurse working at the Turkish Red Crescent Zonguldak Branch, suddenly collapsed while she was at the gym. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of those who noticed her condition.

Tekin, who was taken to Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Hospital, could not be saved despite all the interventions by the doctors.
BURIED NEXT TO HER SON
Tekin's body was taken from the hospital morgue and brought to the Aziziye Mosque in the Kozlu district. After the funeral prayer performed following the afternoon prayer, she was laid to rest in the Aşağıçayır village cemetery. It was learned that Tekin was buried next to her son Boran Tekin, who passed away 9 months ago.
