A fire broke out in a parked minibus in Yalova. While the minibus was engulfed in flames, the fire also caused material damage to three nearby vehicles.
A fire broke out in a minibus while it was parked in Yalova. The fire caused material damage to 3 other vehicles in the vicinity.
According to the information received, flames began to rise from the minibus while it was being parked on Çınarlı Mosque Street in Fevziçakmak Neighborhood.
THE MINIBUS BURNT FLAMES
The fire was initially determined to have occurred due to a short circuit caused by electrical components. The driver, noticing the fire, requested a fire extinguisher from nearby citizens, but there were not enough fire extinguishers available in the area.
After the initial intervention with the fire extinguisher in the vehicle proved insufficient, the flames quickly grew. As a result of the flames jumping, some vehicles parked in front, behind, and beside the minibus sustained material damage to their front and rear sections.
VEHICLE BECAME UNUSABLE
The fire was extinguished by the intervention of the fire brigade dispatched to the scene upon notification. While there were no casualties or injuries in the incident, the vehicle became unusable. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
