The storm and southwesterly winds that have been ongoing in Istanbul for two days have caused huge waves along the coastline. As the waves overflowed onto the shore, there were disruptions in pedestrian crossings in some areas; particularly due to the intensifying southwesterly winds at Yenikapı beach, the giant waves rose several meters, covering the coastal strip.

Especially due to the increasing effect of the south wind at Yenikapı beach, giant waves rose several meters, covering the coastal band.
Due to the waves occasionally reaching the walking path, citizens had to move away from the beach.
Some citizens on the beach could not avoid getting wet as the waves suddenly rose while they were taking photos.
