TURKEY IN 46TH PLACE

According to the latest data from Henley & Partners, Turkey has increased its passport power compared to the previous year, rising to 46th place. Turkish citizens can currently enter 118 countries visa-free, with visa on arrival, or online visa.

However, the index evaluates not only the number of visa-free countries but also the international prestige and influence of the passport. In this context, Turkey's overall ranking has been recorded as 89th place.

THE GOAL OF VISA-FREE TRAVEL CONTINUES

One of the prominent topics in Turkish foreign policy in recent years, visa-free travel agreements have also reflected in the 2025 table. Turkey, especially through mutual agreements with Latin America, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific regions, has offered its citizens the right to free movement in a wider geography.

Experts emphasize that possible visa facilitation negotiations with the European Union in the upcoming period could further elevate Turkey's position in the index.
