In Denizli, an intoxicated individual followed a group of young women sitting in a park for a while. He then sat down next to them and began to harass them, spilling the tea on the table and using profanity. When nearby citizens intervened, a scuffle broke out. The suspect was detained following a report from the young women.
In the Kınıklı neighborhood of Pamukkale district in Denizli, two young women named B.K. (24) and E.D. (23) went to a park on Çamlık Boulevard to chat. While the young women were talking, a suspicious person who sat next to them tried to touch the women and made inappropriate gestures.
A SCUFFLE BROKE OUT
When nearby citizens got involved, a scuffle ensued. The suspect then fled the scene on a motorcycle with a friend. The two young girls reported that they had been harassed and contacted the police. In the incident that occurred on Saturday, June 21, B.K. and E.D. stated that the suspect was intoxicated and had disturbed them.
HE HAD BEEN FOLLOWING THEM BEFORE
Upon receiving the report, the police teams initiated an investigation to capture the suspect, who was determined to have fled the scene on a motorcycle without a license plate. After examining witness statements and security camera footage, the police identified the suspect, discovering that he had previously followed the girls.

The suspect was captured and detained as a result of extensive searches.

B.K., who reported that they had been harassed, stated in her police testimony that the suspect approached them and touched them, saying, "An intoxicated person we didn't know came up to us and sat next to me while touching me. Later, he spilled my tea from the cup in front of me and started cursing at us. Then people around us gathered. A fight broke out between us. The suspect fled on a motorcycle with his friend."
